Al\u00e9m disso, frangas mais pesadas acumulam mais gordura e massa muscular (E. Lacin et al., 2008; Muir et al., 2023; Jian Lu et al., 2025), o que garante reservas energ\u00e9ticas importantes para sustentar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de ovos e suporte no desenvolvimento corporal at\u00e9 que as aves atinjam 33 semanas de idade ou mais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma vez que as aves atingem boa taxa de postura e mant\u00eam sua persist\u00eancia, essas reservas passam a ser fundamentais para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do tamanho dos ovos. Dois estudos conduzidos por A. Perez-Bonilla et al. (2012), ilustrados nas Tabelas 2 e 3, demonstram que galinhas com maior peso inicial produzem ovos mais pesados e maior massa total de ovos, embora com maior consumo de ra\u00e7\u00e3o e convers\u00e3o alimentar menos eficiente (FCR) entre 22-50 e 24-59 semanas, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Tabela 2 &#8211; O monitoramento do peso deve come\u00e7ar desde o in\u00edcio do lote. Ajustes na estrat\u00e9gia alimentar com base nesse acompanhamento s\u00e3o essenciais. Entre as semanas 10 e 16, o consumo adequado de ra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 cr\u00edtico para que as aves atinjam os requisitos nutricionais antes da postura. Alcan\u00e7ar uniformidade superior a 85% no in\u00edcio da postura contribui para regular o tamanho m\u00e9dio dos ovos durante todo o ciclo produtivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, manter baixa densidade de alojamento ajuda a evitar competi\u00e7\u00e3o por alimento e reduz o estresse, diminuindo a ocorr\u00eancia de ovos pequenos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A gest\u00e3o do fotoper\u00edodo influencia diretamente o crescimento das frangas. Per\u00edodos mais longos de luz estimulam maior consumo de ra\u00e7\u00e3o, melhorando a condi\u00e7\u00e3o corporal e favorecendo ovos mais pesados. O peso m\u00e9dio corporal e o est\u00edmulo luminoso s\u00e3o determinantes no in\u00edcio da postura e no tamanho dos ovos: est\u00edmulo precoce com aves leves antecipa a maturidade, mas reduz o tamanho dos ovos; est\u00edmulo tardio com aves mais pesadas tende a produzir ovos maiores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A manuten\u00e7\u00e3o das aves dentro da zona de conforto t\u00e9rmico (20\u00b0C \u2013 24\u00b0C) deve ser prioridade. Sistemas eficazes de ventila\u00e7\u00e3o e resfriamento s\u00e3o essenciais para prevenir o estresse t\u00e9rmico, que afeta negativamente o peso e a qualidade dos ovos. De acordo com a FAOSTAT (2010), o peso do ovo reduz 0,4% a cada aumento de 1\u00b0C entre 23\u00b0C e 27\u00b0C, e 0,8% a cada 1\u00b0C acima de 27\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-dcb4da269938d22d73f04be733792cfb\" style=\"color:#004a7c\">NUTRI\u00c7\u00c3O<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Um ovo com peso m\u00e9dio de 60 gramas \u00e9 composto por aproximadamente 33 a 36 gramas de clara, 16 a 20 gramas de gema e 8 a 10 gramas de casca. A clara cont\u00e9m cerca de 10 a 11 gramas de prote\u00edna e 0,3% de gordura, enquanto a gema possui aproximadamente 17,5% de prote\u00edna e 30% de gordura. A presen\u00e7a de carboidratos e a\u00e7\u00facares \u00e9 m\u00ednima, sendo tra\u00e7os residuais. A casca representa cerca de 9% a 13% do peso total do ovo. Sua suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o fornece energia metaboliz\u00e1vel, o que pode reduzir o consumo total de ra\u00e7\u00e3o necess\u00e1rio. Diversos estudos demonstraram que o peso dos ovos aumenta significativamente com a eleva\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00edveis de \u00e1cido linoleico na dieta. Por consequ\u00eancia, a defici\u00eancia de qualquer amino\u00e1cido essencial pode limitar diretamente o aumento do peso do ovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A metionina, geralmente considerada o primeiro amino\u00e1cido limitante, \u00e9 apontada como o mais importante devido ao seu efeito direto no peso do ovo. Quando se busca otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o do peso, a ingest\u00e3o di\u00e1ria de metionina deve ser considerada em conjunto com a cistina. Pesquisas indicam que a ingest\u00e3o combinada ideal de metionina + cistina deve situar-se entre 0,70% e 0,74%, devendo-se considerar tamb\u00e9m os n\u00edveis \u00f3timos de ingest\u00e3o dos demais amino\u00e1cidos para se alcan\u00e7ar o melhor peso de ovo poss\u00edvel \u2014 especialmente entre 20 e 45 semanas de idade. Para reduzir o tamanho dos ovos, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel realizar uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gica da prote\u00edna bruta, do \u00e1cido linoleico, ou especificamente de metionina e cistina, bem como de outros amino\u00e1cidos essenciais. No entanto, tais restri\u00e7\u00f5es nutricionais n\u00e3o devem ser implementadas precocemente, especialmente antes das 45 semanas de idade, pois isso comprometeria diretamente a produ\u00e7\u00e3o total de ovos. Redu\u00e7\u00f5es gerais no teor de prote\u00edna tamb\u00e9m podem afetar negativamente o n\u00famero de ovos produzidos, al\u00e9m de impactar o tamanho. O controle da ingest\u00e3o total de amino\u00e1cidos digest\u00edveis \u00e9 essencial, uma vez que estudos sugerem que uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o equilibrada de todos os amino\u00e1cidos pode ser mais eficaz no controle do peso dos ovos do que a limita\u00e7\u00e3o seletiva apenas de metionina ou metionina + cistina (Lemme, 2009; Macelline et al., 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amino\u00e1cidos de cadeia ramificada (BCAAs), como isoleucina e valina, s\u00e3o fundamentais para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da imunidade intestinal, capacidade antioxidante e processos metab\u00f3licos cr\u00edticos (Dong et al., 2016). Qualquer defici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica na dieta obriga a ave a metabolizar prote\u00ednas e amino\u00e1cidos como fonte de energia, reduzindo sua disponibilidade para forma\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento do ovo \u2014 o que impacta negativamente a produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Por outro lado, excesso de energia pode reduzir o consumo total de ra\u00e7\u00e3o e levar \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de ovos com peso inferior ao esperado. Portanto, manter o equil\u00edbrio energ\u00e9tico ideal na dieta \u00e9 fundamental, pois tanto a car\u00eancia quanto o excesso energ\u00e9tico podem prejudicar o peso dos ovos e o desempenho alimentar geral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A forma de apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o da ra\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m tem papel relevante.
